Stephanie Sun is an artist, designer, and an arts marketing professional.

 

With experiences of working in artist studios, design companies, gallery, museum, and arts nonprofit organizations, Stephanie extracted the best practices from a diverse group of creative work environments. Her backgrounds in design and arts management supported her interest of exploring how people interact and communicate with art and design.

 

Stephanie received her BFA in Jewelry+Metalsmithing from Rhode Island School of Design and her MA in Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.

  • Create and implement marketing strategies that drove awareness and engagement to support earned revenue and contributed income, as well as exhibition visitation and program attendance.
     

  • Develop written and visual content for digital and print marketing collateral, press relations, social media, e-communications, and websites.

  • Cultivate and build media relationships locally and nationally to grow press coverage and media sponsorship.
     

  • Manage special projects such as developing exhibition videos with videographers and working with ad agencies and marketing consultants to conduct market research, strategic marketing plan, brand refresh, customer journey mapping, A/B testing, and multi-channel campaigns.
     

  • Plan and execute community events, including team/artist management, programming, and creating event flow charts and space layout.
